ACADEMIC SUPPORT

Mission:

To promote and make available academic and professional training programs to facilitate their development. To contribute to a good social development and to ensure that our players are also responsible and fulfilled citizens.

Plan :

The Flames are committed to developing a personal plan for all of these players in order to focus on the need of each individual.

A structured and mandatory plan:

Out of town players must stay with Gatineau Flames billet families.
Players are required to be enrolled in a post secondary school center.
Educational or professional follow-ups are completed to ensure a harmonious evolution between study/work and sport. Players must also be aware of the importance of their schedules.
A contract between the team and the player will be put in place.

In order to reach these objectives, a meeting will be held between our academic person and each player to determine his personal path.

If an intervention plan becomes necessary during the player's journey with the Gatineau Flames, it will be documented and addressed.

Management reserves the right to expel a player immediately if situations of criminal activity, drug/alcohol abuse and/or physical violence occur. (no refund of registration fees will be possible)
