Specialized Supervision
Mission:
To promote and make available academic and professional training programs to facilitate their development. To contribute to a good social development and to ensure that our players are also responsible and fulfilled citizens.
Plan :
The Flames are committed to developing a personal plan for all of these players in order to focus on the need of each individual.
A structured and mandatory plan:
- Out of town players must stay with Gatineau Flames boarding families.
- Players are required to be enrolled in a post secondary training center or to have a part-time job.
- Educational or professional follow-ups are completed to ensure a harmonious evolution between study/work and sport. Players must also be aware of the importance of their schedules.
- A contract between the team and the player will be put in place as follows
- Access to academic and/or professional information.
- Gatineau Flames Ethics Contract
In order to reach these objectives, a meeting will be held between the Director of Player Development and each player to determine his personal path.
If an intervention plan becomes necessary during the player's journey with the Gatineau Flames, it will be documented and addressed.
Management reserves the right to expel a player immediately if situations of criminal activity, drug/alcohol abuse and/or physical violence occur. (no refund of registration fees will be possible)

Vendredi dernier, 3 février, lors de la victoire des 7 à 0 face aux Prédateurs de Joliette, Ethan Neitsch est devenu le premier gardien de l'histoire des Flames à obtenir un blanchissage.
Depuis la première saison, 2015-2016, jamais un gardien n'avait réussi à arrêter tous les tirs face à lui. C'est une fierté pour l'organisation d'avoir un gardien comme Ethan.

Last Friday, February 3, in the Flames' 7-0 win over the Joliette Predators, Ethan Neitsch became the first goalie in Flames history to earn a shutout.
Since the first season, 2015-2016, never a Flames goalie stopped every shot against him. It is a pride for the organization to have a goalie like Ethan.
